A Quickie For Marie

I've been trying to email this screensaver to a mate up in Sweden, but it just never seems to go through any of the email channels.

Soooooo... With Much Ado... Here's the screensaver I made for an Adelaidien transplanted to waaaaaay up north:

Here's the screensaver for Marie in Sweden.

You will note it's a zip file, just save it to your desktop and extract the .scr file. Feel free to run any virus software over it you want to, no worries. Then just right click on the .scr and from the flyout menu chose Install.

Fingers crossed, I'm pullin' for ya, we're all in this together!

Oh, if anyone else wants to download it, no worries. It'll only run on a PC. There's parrots (all kinds), roos, koalas and lots of blue sky pics. Just the thing for your winter!

Sarah Palin Caption Contest Weiners!

Yes, I've decided (it's my contest and my blog so I'm in charge!!!) that the Sarah Palin Caption Contest is over.

Yes, I missed it. The Sarah Palin bounce, that is. Heck, I didn't even k(no)w how to pro-noun-ce her name! Sorta like Valdez, Valdez, Valdez --three(3) pronounciations depending on where you are from. In Castellano, it'd be pronounced as Valdeath. Fitting, eh? Anywho, I only doubled my traffic yes(turd)ay. Or was it the day before? Whatever, I missed it!

I promise never, ever, ever again to pander to the LCD in order to get traffic. There. Those crystals should be safe now that I'm not pandering to them no more.

Back to the topic... what topic? Oh, yeah. THAT topic.

If anyone can tell me what song the title of this post is yanked from, then I'll give you something. Free. On me. No worries. Now, I wouldn't be surprised that the title of this post has somehow mistakenly found it's merry way into other songs over the ensuing decades (is time linear?); but there's one song I'm thinking of...

FREE parrot screensaver

Cus I'm such a nice guy, I made a screensaver out of 12 of my birdie pics. It's in a ZIP file and it's only 1.2 megs so it won't take long to download. Inside the ZIP file is a .exe that is a self-extracting screensaver. There's no germs in it, but by all means run any type of virus scanner over the .exe to make you feel better, no worries.

Just click on this RIGHT HERE and tell it to save the file in whatever nomenclature your browser uses. Once you open the zip file then just run the .exe which is called Parrots From Oz.exe Gee, ain't I clever?

Sorry, but it's pc only as I don't have a mac.
