I think I may have mentioned this before, but there really is a reason they are called RAINBOW Lorikeets. Do you think this might be it?
There are getting to be more galahs around and they aren't as skittish as they used to be. Still can't get close though.

so what exactly do these birds eat? just seeds? or anything special?
The parrots are suckers for raw sunflower seeds. It's not the best diet for them, kinda like a person living on fast food :) However, there are days when they don't show up at all and I've also seen them eating the berries off trees, gum nuts, flower nectar, bottle brushes, etc so I don't worry about them not getting a balanced diet. It's kinda like dessert for them, I guess.
