What the heck has dave been smoking?

This'll be a quickie post today cus WP and I are going to go hide in the woods for the day. Don't worry, we'll be bundling up quite well as it's only going to get to 68F today in the shade. BRRRRRRR!

But what have I been smoking lately? Did you know it's legal down here? Now you do.

I was going to post all the info and pics here but blogger is very slow so I'll just link to it:

I've been smoking this.

And this too, also.

How do you get your pics so large on your blog? Is it the choice in layout?

THanks!

Smoked tofu? I thought that was banned by international law as a substance with no recognizable use!

Fizzig: Heck, I gotta think of something to get y'all to read me foody blog. I just checked stats: it worked!

la isla d'lisa: Cheese is good... so is tofu if you actually flavour the darned stuff.

Karen Travels: I upload them via flickr, that way I can get them any size I want. Drop me a line at alaskandavedownunder(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll tell you about it.
BTW, did you stop at The Knotty Shop in Salcha?

SV MEERKAT: I'm trying to get a job writing headlines for the Weekly World News dontcha know.

TwoYaks: The dependent clause of sentence seven, paragraph 19, of the sub-section 21ii, found in the tertiary appendix of the 38th edition of the International Food Guide circa 1721 A.D., SPECIFICALLY states that dried soybean curd may be flavoured to enhance it palatability. A subsequent edition outlines the specific requirements for the smoking (or curing) of the flavoured (or marinated) curd.
Therefore I do believe I am firmly within the bounds of accepted culinary reasoning to smoke some damned tofu!

But see, Dave, chocolate already comes flavored, and is so very much betterer!

la isla d'lisa: Chocolate IS one of the four major food groups. Cheese, bread, beer, and chocolate.
